Omid Tashayod

Omid Tashayod is a Director in the Investment Banking Department of Credit Suisse. He joined the Step Up for Better Living (Step Up) board in March 2020. Nonprofit work gives him a sense of responsibility and enables him to give back to the community. Omid also has a firm belief that compassion is the key to happiness. Inspired by Step Up’s mission to provide services that address people’s very basic needs, including food security and permanent housing, he believes the organization’s proactive approach with at-risk families promotes sustainability and enables them to achieve independence. He has a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Omid’s experience in finance and investments helps ensure Step Up’s long-term viability and success.
