As the holiday season approaches, Step Up for Better Living is gearing up for a series of heartwarming events that promise to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging to our South Bronx community. These events, designed with care and consideration, aim to support families in need during this special time of year.
Community Turkey Day (November 7th)
Kicking off the holiday season, on November 7th from 10:00am to 1:00pm, we’re holding a special Community Turkey Day at our center. The first 80 guests will receive a food gift card to help make their Thanksgiving meal complete. It’s a small gesture that we hope will bring warmth and comfort to families during this season of giving.

Annual Thanksgiving Dinner (November 21st)
On November 21st, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, we’re hosting our beloved Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at 941 Hoe Avenue, Bronx, NY 10459. This event is a true feast for the senses, with a spread of traditional Thanksgiving fare that embodies the essence of gratitude. It’s a day to come together, share stories, and celebrate the spirit of unity.

Senior Christmas Dinner (December 12th)
We’re taking our cherished seniors on a memorable journey to the Lobster House in City Island on December 12th, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. This event is not just about the delicious food; it’s about honoring the seniors who are the backbone of our community. It’s a day to show them the love and appreciation they truly deserve.

Youth Christmas Incentives (December 19th)
On December 19th, from 10:00am to 5:00pm, we’re dedicating a day to our young community members. The 3rd Floor at 424 East 147th Street, Bronx NY 10455 will be alive with the spirit of growth and camaraderie. Through workshops and activities, we’re fostering a sense of community and empowering our youth to reach for their dreams.
