Our Backpack Giveaway Block Party is designed to ensure that students in the South Bronx are equipped with the tools they need to succeed academically. This event is about more than just backpacks—it’s about preparing our kids for a brighter future and bringing the community together in a spirit of support and celebration.

Free Backpacks and School Supplies: Thanks to the generosity of our donors and community partners, we will be distributing 700 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students of all ages. Whether you have a child starting kindergarten or entering their senior year of high school, we’ve got you covered. These backpacks are packed with notebooks, pens, pencils, folders, and other supplies to help our kids hit the ground running when the school year begins.

Family-Friendly Fun: This is not just a giveaway—it’s a block party! We’ve got a lineup of activities that will keep everyone entertained throughout the day. Enjoy music, games, face painting, and a variety of fun activities designed to bring smiles to children and adults alike. We’ll also have local food vendors on site, offering delicious bites to keep you fueled for all the fun.

Community Resources: In addition to the fun and games, the Backpack Giveaway Block Party will feature resource booths where families can access information about local services, educational programs, and other community initiatives.
